📄 DOCUMENT 4 — TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (T&Cs)

4.1 Identification of the service provider
The public passenger transport with driver (VTC) service presented on the Site is operated by ARM VTC, an operator registered in the VTC Operators Register (REVTC) kept by the Ministry of Transport.

4.2 Purpose and scope of application
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) govern the contractual relationships between ARM VTC (“the Provider”) and any natural or legal person (“the Customer”) subscribing to a transport service via the Site armvtc.fr, the adapp booking module accessible from the Site, or any other prior booking channel (phone, email).
The simple act of booking a service with ARM VTC implies full and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs. The applicable T&Cs are those in force on the date of booking.
4.3 Nature of the service
ARM VTC provides a public passenger transport with driver (VTC) service within the meaning of article L.3120-1 of the Transport Code, exclusively by prior booking.
⚠️ Mandatory notice (art. L.3120-2 III of the Transport Code): In accordance with VTC regulations, ARM VTC practises neither physical touting (parking while waiting for customers on public roads) nor electronic touting. Any pick-up requires a confirmed prior booking. The distinction from taxi activity is thus fully respected.
The services offered include in particular:
- Transfers to and from airports (Strasbourg-Entzheim, EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Baden-Baden, Frankfurt, Zurich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt-Hahn)
- Train station transfers and intra-regional journeys
- Tourist excursions in Alsace (Wine Route, Colmar, castles, villages, Christmas Market, Europa-Park)
- Chauffeur service by the hour or by the day
- Business services (seminars, events, group transfers)
4.4 Network of professional partner drivers
ARM VTC operates through a network of professional partner drivers. Each driver involved in an ARM VTC service is:
- The holder of a valid professional VTC card, issued by the departmental prefect after examination;
- Registered personally or via their structure in the VTC Operators Register (REVTC), updated in the biometric format that came into force on 15 March 2026;
- Covered by a Professional Civil Liability insurance (RC Pro) specific to passenger transport for consideration;
- Subject to the mandatory continuing training of 14 hours every 5 years (Thévenoud Act);
- The driver of a vehicle compliant with the standards of the Transport Code (less than 6 years old for the vehicles covered by article D.3122-1, at least 4 doors, at least 7 fiscal horsepower, valid technical inspection, air conditioning, VTC badge displayed).
⚠️ Compliance with the 2026 PLF/PLFSS and the framework of the Court of Cassation ruling of 25/06/2025 on subcontracting: ARM VTC complies with the legal framework reinforced in 2026 on driver/vehicle/operator traceability. No illegal subcontracting is practised. The contractual relationships between ARM VTC and the partner drivers are structured in compliance with labour law, the Transport Code, and social and tax reporting obligations (DGFiP/URSSAF/INPI/Tracfin interconnection introduced in 2026).
4.5 Booking
4.5.1 Booking procedures
Every service is subject to a prior booking, made:
- Via the online booking module accessible on armvtc.fr (technical provider: adapp);
- By phone;
- By email;
- By any other traceable written means agreed between the parties for business customers.
4.5.2 Confirmation and booking voucher
Following your request, ARM VTC sends you a booking confirmation acting as a booking voucher within the meaning of the order of 6 August 2025, stating the 7 mandatory standardised pieces of information:
- Identity of the operator (ARM VTC) and full contact details
- ARM VTC’s REVTC number
- ARM VTC’s SIREN number
- Identity of the customer (surname, first name)
- Date and time of the order
- Date, time and precise location of pick-up
- Destination or nature of the chauffeur service
This document, kept for the legal duration, justifies the booked and lawful nature of the journey in the event of an inspection.
4.5.3 Booking lead time
ARM VTC accepts bookings within the limits of the network’s availability. Bookings made less than 2 hours before pick-up are handled according to the immediate availability of the network and may be refused.
ARM VTC does not offer an immediate-ride service of the on-demand platform type. For an immediate journey, a taxi service or an instant mobility platform will be more suitable.
4.6 Rates and payment
4.6.1 Fixed-rate principle
ARM VTC practises fixed rates, confirmed at booking. No meter is used. The rate communicated at confirmation is firm and final, subject to the following cases:
- Modification of the journey by the Customer during the ride (adding a stop, detour, change of destination);
- Additional waiting time at pick-up or during the mission beyond the included allowance;
- Luggage or special equipment not declared at booking;
- Excessive soiling, damage, or behaviour requiring deep cleaning (flat fee according to the scale indicated at booking).
4.6.2 Rates displayed on the Site
The price ranges displayed on the service pages of the Site are indicative and correspond to a starting rate per vehicle, for a standard journey without special options. The final and firm rate is communicated to you at booking, depending on your exact address, the time, the number of passengers and any options.
4.6.3 Payment methods
Payment is made via the adapp platform accessible from the Site, by bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard) or any other means of payment accepted by adapp. For business customers, payment by invoice may be agreed (terms and conditions to be specified in the quote or purchase order).
ARM VTC never directly stores your bank details. Payment processing is handled by adapp and its banking provider under secure conditions compliant with the PCI-DSS standard.
4.7 Cancellation and modification
4.7.1 Cancellation by the Customer
| Cancellation period before pick-up | Conditions |
|---|---|
| More than 24 hours | Full refund |
| Between 24 hours and 2 hours | Conditions to be specified on a case-by-case basis (typically: indicative partial retention to be validated) |
| Less than 2 hours | The service may be due in full |
| No-show of the Customer | The service is due in full |
The figures above are parameters to be confirmed by ARM VTC according to its commercial policy. A common industry policy is: full refund more than 24 hours in advance, 50% between 24 and 2 hours in advance, 100% below that or for a no-show.
4.7.2 Cancellation by ARM VTC
ARM VTC reserves the right to cancel a service in the event of force majeure (major bad weather, accident, administrative restriction), a major mechanical breakdown with no replacement solution within the network, or prior behaviour of the Customer manifestly contrary to these T&Cs. In this case, the Customer is informed as soon as possible and fully refunded. Except in the event of force majeure, ARM VTC makes its best efforts to offer an equivalent alternative solution.
4.7.3 Modification
Any modification (time, place, number of passengers) must be communicated at least 4 hours before pick-up. Beyond that, the modification is handled according to the network’s availability and may be subject to an additional charge.
4.8 Vehicles
4.8.1 Guaranteed quality standard
ARM VTC guarantees a consistent premium quality standard for all the vehicles provided by its network: recent, clean, air-conditioned vehicles in perfect mechanical condition, equipped in accordance with the Transport Code.
4.8.2 Non-contractual photos
⚠️ The vehicle photographs presented on the Site (armvtc.fr) are non-contractual. The vehicles actually provided may be of a different make or model from those illustrated, without any reduction in the standard of quality and comfort guaranteed. ARM VTC commits to the vehicle category (Eco Saloon, Business Saloon, Business Van) and the service level, not to a specific vehicle model.
4.8.3 Vehicle categories
- Eco Saloon: comfortable 4-door vehicle, up to 4 passengers, compliant with VTC standards.
- Business Saloon: higher-end vehicle, up to 4 passengers, premium finishes and equipment.
- Business Van: spacious vehicle, up to 8 passengers (depending on the approval of the vehicle actually allocated), ideal for groups and families with luggage.
4.8.4 Luggage capacity
Luggage capacity is indicative and depends on the model allocated. For specific needs (sports equipment, instruments, numerous bulky items of luggage), please specify at booking so that ARM VTC can direct you to the appropriate vehicle.
4.9 Flight tracking and waiting
For transfers from an airport, ARM VTC provides real-time tracking of the Customer’s flight (provided the flight number was communicated at booking). The pick-up time is automatically adjusted in the event of a flight delay, at no extra cost to the Customer.
A waiting allowance is included:
- 60 minutes for transfers from an airport;
- 15 minutes for transfers from a train station;
- 15 minutes for transfers from a private address.
Beyond that, a waiting fee applies, communicated to the Customer at confirmation.
4.10 Customer obligations
The Customer undertakes to:
- Provide accurate information at booking (address, time, number of passengers, reachable contact);
- Be present at the agreed time and place of pick-up, or to have notified ARM VTC in the event of a delay;
- Respect the safety of the ride: mandatory wearing of the seatbelt, respect for the driver, no smoking in the vehicle, prohibition on transporting dangerous, illicit or harmful materials;
- Travel in a condition compatible with the safety of the ride (possible refusal of boarding in the event of a manifestly incompatible condition — excessive intoxication, violent behaviour);
- Pay the agreed price according to the procedures provided for.
4.11 Liability
4.11.1 ARM VTC’s liability
ARM VTC is responsible for the proper performance of the transport service in accordance with these T&Cs. Its liability is covered by a Professional Civil Liability insurance (RC Pro) specific to passenger transport for consideration, compliant with the 2026 legal requirements.
ARM VTC cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure (exceptional bad weather, demonstrations blocking traffic, an accident on the route not attributable to the driver, sudden administrative restrictions such as reinforced low-emission zones), nor in the event of a delay attributable to an external event beyond its control.
4.11.2 Luggage and personal belongings
Luggage is transported under the Customer’s custody. ARM VTC recommends that the Customer not leave valuables in the vehicle and check their belongings when getting out. In the event of a forgotten item, ARM VTC makes its best efforts to return the item, with return fees possibly applying.
4.11.3 Limitation of liability
Except in the event of gross or intentional fault, ARM VTC’s liability is limited to the amount of the service concerned.
4.12 Personal data
The processing of the Customer’s personal data within the framework of the booking and the service is governed by the Privacy Policy (Document 2 above), compliant with the GDPR, the Swiss FADP and the UK GDPR.
4.13 Complaints
Any complaint relating to a service must be sent to ARM VTC within 30 days following the ride, by email to (address to be confirmed) or by post to the registered office address, with the supporting documents (booking reference, description of the reason).
ARM VTC undertakes to reply within a period of 15 working days.
4.14 Consumer mediation
In accordance with articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of a dispute not resolved directly with ARM VTC.
| Competent mediator | Contact details |
|---|---|
| Tourism and Travel Mediator (MTV) | mtv.travel — for services of a tourist nature (excursions) |
| Transport consumer mediator | To be designated by ARM VTC (obligation art. L.612-1 of the Consumer Code) |
The Customer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
4.15 Applicable law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the jurisdiction of the courts within the jurisdiction of Strasbourg, subject to:
- The mandatory provisions applicable to consumers residing in another EU Member State, in Switzerland or in the United Kingdom, who may bring proceedings before the courts of their domicile under the Brussels I bis Regulation or equivalent conventions;
- Prior recourse to consumer mediation (art. 4.14).
4.16 Acceptance and entry into force
The Customer acknowledges having read these T&Cs before confirming their booking and accepting them without reservation. The date of acceptance is that of the booking confirmation.
Date of last update of the T&Cs: 20 May 2026.
